Verde Kitchen Has Been Named One of Long Island’s Top 100 Restaurants by Newsday
Verde Kitchen & Cocktails is proud to announce that we have been named one of Long Island’s Top 100 restaurants by Newsday. Newsday visited many Long Island restaurants and picked their top ten favorite restaurants by category. Verde Kitchen & Cocktails earned a spot on Newsday’s top 10 Latin restaurants for 2018.
“It starts with a good Margarita, and goes up from there,” Newsday wrote about our restaurant. At Verde Kitchen and Cocktails, customers can order a Margarita de Sandia made from spicy pepper infused with Espolon Blanco tequila, fresh watermelon puree, orange liqueur, and fresh lime. We also have all-natural margaritas on our drink menu, including the Verde margarita, the tropical margarita, the cucumber jalapeno margarita, the spicy pepper margarita, and more. As one of the top restaurants on Long Island, we are proud to serve an incredibly unique and diverse selection of margaritas to our diners.
“Verde Kitchen & Cocktails reaches the top tier of Mexican restaurants for fine imbibing, lively food, absence of cliches and considerable style,” Newsday continued in their article reviewing our restaurant. “The menu veers from traditional (guacamole, queso fundido, street tacos) to more adventurous fare such as Berkshire pork chop with tamarind glaze, spring vegetables, garlic-habanero salsa and toasted peanut or chintextle-chili-rubbed swordfish in a charred banana leaf with hoja santa pesto.”
When it comes to the best Mexican restaurants on Long Island, Verde Kitchen & Cocktails is on the top of the list.
